Backups
Section titled “Backups”The Backup menu lets you create and restore backups of the current archive.
An archive can have up to two backups:
- Manual backup, created and managed by you.
- Automatic backup, created when you use
Save and run
Manual backup
Section titled “Manual backup”Manual backups let you keep a copy of your level that you can restore later.
- Create backup creates a backup next to the original file as
<level_name>.pak.backup. Unsaved changes are not included. - Restore replaces the current level with the backup and reloads the level.
- Overwrite creates a new backup and replaces the existing manual backup.
- Delete removes the manual backup.
Automatic backup
Section titled “Automatic backup”An automatic backup is created when you use Save and run or press Ctrl+L.
- The backup is created before the level is saved and launched.
- Each level can only have one automatic backup. Creating a new one replaces the previous automatic backup for that level.
- Automatic backups do not affect your manual backup.
- You can clear the automatic backup folder if it starts taking up too much space.
